ISPMan 0.8.2 Installation and Configuration
<<< PreviousNext >>>

Introduction

A document for installation and configuration of ISPMan, a web interface network server management tool for an ISP or other large network environment. ISPMan uses ldap to store user and server host information as well as application configurations.

ISPMan was written to support Proftpd, Postfix, Cyrus-imap, Apache, and BIND 8 & 9 using OpenLDAP. It requires installation of pam_ldap version 1.8 or newer and nss_ldap for user authentication on the servers participating in the administrated group.

This document was written while doing an install on my own SuSE Linux system, running openldap2, apache 1.3.22, Postfix 20021125-1SASL, cyrus-imapd-2.0.9, . ISPMan runs on many different Unix and Unix-like systems and there may be some differences in the location of files and configuration options on these other systems, of which I am not aware.

YMMV
