We examined several options for creating a highly reliable mail server.
Shared storage is easier to configure and manage, but prohibitive
hardware costs. Linux-HA with DRBD is more difficult to configure
and slightly more difficult to manage (than shared storage), but does
not require more expensive specialized hardware. DRBD was the more
cost-effective solution.
